Our research is focused on the interface of (finite) deformation, flow and interaction of solids, materials, microstructures and liquids + fluids in extreme and coupled settings, spanning theoretical mechanics, applied and computational mathematics and physics, and materials science.

Continuum and statistical mechanics, rheology and physical mathematics of solids and condensed matter: polymeric solids and liquids, and crystalline matter
(Micro) Mechanics + geometry + topology and additive manufacturing of multi-functional mechanical devices, robotic matter and architected materials
Scientific computing, physical applied mathematics, and uncertainty quantification for materials and devices in extreme, coupled environments
